Spring - a new beginning, a new cycle, an explosion of new life. In Greek mythology, the goddess of spring, Persephone, is abducted by Hades and taken to the underworld to be his bride. She is rescued by her mother Demeter, goddess of fertility, who refuses to let the Earth propagate until she is released. Persephone is freed, but must spend part of the year with Hades in the underworld: winter. As we enter April, Livia Linden and Bo Petran explore the season of light and life, and the foreshadowing of its end.
