REFLECTIONS ON CHILDHOOD brings together twelve artists exploring childhood in all its complexity. Through personal memories, social commentary, and imaginative interpretations, the works invite viewers to reflect on the worlds children inhabit and the futures they may inherit. As both an artist and a developmental psychologist, Carolyn Newberger has long been concerned with the experience of children and the factors that limit and support their well-being. Her hope is that this exhibition will inspire selection, empathy, and conversation about shared responsibilities to the next generation.
